Yeah, most people get my name wrong. But my friends call me T.
I’m Therese Vonesh, a copywriter for the outdoor and fitness industries. Long story short, I help people get outside.
In 2023, the average person spends 90% of their life indoors and less than 5% of adults exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. Not only does this behavior damage our connection with nature, but studies have shown that it’s unhealthy and even stress-inducing. Some people spend days without going outside and years without exercising.
But, I’ve got a hidden talent for finding the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Halfway through my bachelor’s degree I changed gears
and switched majors. I decided there must be a way to combine my love of the outdoors with my God-given talent for writing.
During my time working as an editorial intern and journalist in the world of magazines, I really discovered my passion for writing stories and connecting with others. But copywriting has taught me that stories aren’t always just pretty pictures and captivating words.
With stories, I inspire and encourage people to get outside, exercise, and search out those extraordinary things they’re missing.
